This shows the total incompetence and negligence of the banks to continue lending to people who had no business acquiring loans. The banks created and nurtured an environment ripe for fraud. Now the legitimate homeowners are paying the price as all these homes are in foreclosure. Why do the banks get to keep the money while we suffer. Obama tried to allow judges to write down mortgages to their current appraised value which would have turned this thing around, but pro business Republicans opposed it.</description>

		<description>I have tried for the last 6 month to get my HAMP modification to go through, The company has found something wrong with the papers now they are telling me they can not except my 2009 U.S. Federal Income Tax E-File signature it is not a legal signature if the federal goverment will except it why can&#039;t they?  I even tried to pay my mortgage payment and because I was ill and my payment was more than 16 days late they would not except it now I am still trying to work something out with this company that bought my mortgage for another comapany last year I am now 10k in payment and late fees and fines they say. If I hadn&#039;t been in this house for 6 yrs already I&#039;d just let them have it.  Ive been sick every day working 2 jobs just trying to make ends meet. They will call me 4 to 6 times a day. 
Even up into the late evening houres.</description>
